Russia vs Brazil International Friendly - Live Stream

Russia vs Brazil
International Friendlies
Date: Friday, 23 March 2018
Kick-Off at 16:00 UK
Venue: Olimpiyskiy stadion Luzhniki (Moscow).
One of the most appealing fixtures of the day is set to be played at Olimpiyskiy stadion Luzhniki where sovereign South American Qualification winners are set to play the World Cup hosts. Brazil obviously head into the game as massive favourites aiming to return on the winning ways after a goalless draw with England in November last year.
Being the host nation, Russia did not have to go through the qualification campaign at all which might be considered as a handicap for the team led by Stanislav Cherchesov. The public has huge expectations from the hosts, but we can hardly see them make the deep run this summer given the obvious lack in quality compared to the biggest names.
Russia had two super tough tests in the November’s friendlies window and they’ve generally done well losing narrowly (0-1) to Argentina before holding Spain to a 3-3 draw in a six-goal thriller. The hosts will have a huge task to stop Brazil’s red-hot attacking line which has bagged 41 goals in 18 qualifying games in South America.
Tite will be without his main star Neymar, but he still has a super string lineup led by the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, Paulinho, Willian etc.

Russia vs Brazil: Head-to-head

Russia have never managed to beat Brazil and this will be the sixth head to head encounter between the two sides.
Brazil have won three and drawn two so far.
The previous H2H clash saw a 1-1 draw in a friendly at Stamford Bridge (Fred bagged the 90th-minute equalizer for Selecao back in 2013).

Russia vs Brazil: Prediction

The quality is definitely on Brazil’s side and we’ll back them to grab the victory at the odds of 1.60.
Since Russia’s defensive line has shown plenty of vulnerabilities in friendlies played last year, we have to take Brazil to score two or more goals as an alternative option at 1.80.
